Where we started
In 2019, MIT graduates Jonathan Wang and Mark Kalinich co-founded Watershed to address a critical need: a unified data analysis solution that would enable scientists to unlock insights from unprecedented volumes of biological data.

With an expanding library of analysis workflows and automation features, a growing team of interdisciplinary experts, and much more, Watershed is poised to drive a new era of scientific breakthroughs.
Where we’re going
In 2023, Watershed received $14.5M in Series A funding to advance our platform and ultimately transform biomedical research. We are partnering with scientists across the entirety of industry and academia to scale their drug discovery and development pipelines.
